A baby with two heads has been born to a woman in India after she was too poor to have an ultrasound during her pregnancy.

Urmila Sharma, 28, gave birth to conjoined twins at Cygnus JK Hindu Hospital in Sonipat, Haryana, in northern India, yesterday morning.

40-year-old Woman Give Birth To Conjoined Twins In Abia State

                               

The birth of a conjoined twins by a 40-year-old woman caused a scene at a hospital in Abia state.

The woman was reported to have delivered at Mben Cottage Hospital, on Asaga road, Ebem Ohafia in Abia state.

              The doctor, Benard Orji who carried out the delivery while speaking on the birth of the babies described it as a strange one as the mother had the twins through a caesarean operation which lasted for two-hours.
             Dr. Orji also stated that the woman who was not a registered patient in the hospital until her delivery did not attend prenatal clinic which may have caused her twins to be conjoined. 

Mother of Conjoined 'Baby with 2 Faces' Says Her Twins Wake and Cry at Different Times

   

The mother of conjoined twins born with one body and two heads has described how her 11-day old daughters are already showing 'very separate' personalities. Renee Young told Woman's Day:

'You have to see it to believe it. Sometimes Faith will cry and wake Hope up, who then looks sideways as if to say, "Thanks for that". We are blessed we've got this far. I just find them adorable.'

The babies, Faith and Hope, were christened at Westmead Children's Hospital after their miraculous birth on May 8. They continue to defy medical odds and Ms Young and Mr Howie have maintained a bedside vigil for their daughters who were born with identical faces and two brains. Despite doctorsinitially telling the couple to terminate the pregnancy, they have been told the girls have a strong chance if they survive the next five weeks.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday in Abuja restated that the activities of terrorist groups across the world had nothing to do with Islam. 

The president stated this when a delegation of the Muslim community led by Vice President Namadi Sambo paid him Sallah homage at his official residence in the Presidential Villa.

Jonathan maintained that there was nothing Islamic about the atrocities being perpetrated by Boko Haram in Nigeria or Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Iraq who claimed to be fighting for the propagation of Islam.

Lagos State Government To Begin Probe Of Synagogue Building Collapse On October 13th

            

The Lagos State Government announced on Friday Oct. 3rd that the coroner it inaugurated to probe the circumstances surrounding the 6-storey Synagogue building which collapsed on September 12th and claimed more than 115 lives will commence sitting on October 13th.

According to Punch, the Lagos State Ministry of Justice said in a statement that the coroner’s hearing will take place at the Coroner Court on the premises of the Ikeja Lagos State High Court.
